The CEO’s Statement
At Clarkson Insurance Brokers, our entire business is built on a single, unwavering promise: protection. Every day, we work to protect businesses, assets, and families from the uncertainties of life. But we believe that true protection goes beyond issuing policies and paying claims. It means actively investing in the health, safety, and future of the communities we serve.
That is why we are incredibly proud to return as a Category A Sponsor for the Rotary Mbarara Safe Motherhood Run.
Since 2016, the Rotary Club of Mbarara has led a relentless fight to improve maternal and newborn healthcare in this region. When the needs assessment identified the critical requirement for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital, we knew that Clarkson had to be part of the solution.
This facility—a first-of-its-kind in the South Western Region—is not just a building. It is a lifeline. It ensures that the most vulnerable among us, our newborns, are given the fighting chance they deserve.
To the Rotary Club of Mbarara: thank you for your vision, your transparency, and your tireless dedication to this community. Clarkson values the strong relationship we have built over the years, and we are committed to standing by your side as we tackle this challenge together.
To the people of Mbarara and Western Uganda: Clarkson is not just here to do business; we are here to be your partners in growth and well-being. This sponsorship is a core pillar of our Corporate Social Responsibility, reflecting our deep commitment to the region.
We call upon other corporate entities, local businesses, and the general public to turn up in large numbers on Sunday, 8th March at the Rotary Children’s Peace Park. Let us run not just for fitness, but for the future.
Together, under the theme ‘Stronger Mothers, Healthier Generations,’ we can make a lasting difference. Thank you, and God bless you."
Mr Alex Makata, CEO Clarkson Insurance Brokers.
