Patrick Mbonye Kabahanga is a strategic business leader, economic policy specialist, and institutional development expert with over 35 years of experience in strategic leadership, corporate governance, economic policy, institutional development, regulatory reform, investment advisory, and private-sector development across East Africa.
He is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Q-Sourcing Servtec Group, a regional workforce solutions firm operating in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan, and Mauritius, with a workforce and contractor base of over 5,000 people. He is also a co-founder of Nyota Capital, supporting start-ups and growth-stage businesses across East and Central Africa.
Patrick has extensive experience advising governments, development partners, and private-sector institutions. He has contributed to major institutional and regulatory reforms in Uganda, including the development and enactment of the Microfinance Deposit-taking Institutions Act, 2003, and has participated in the restructuring of several national institutions. He holds a Master of Science in International Business and Global Economics from the University of Leicester, UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Makerere University.
