Coutts Otolo has over 38 years of professional experience in financial and management consulting, ranging from audit, advisory services, business performance improvement, governance, as well as forensics and investigation.
He has actively participated in setting up several successful accounting operations in several Anglophone and Francophone African countries.
Over and above chairing the Clarkson board, Mr. Otolo is also the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Parker Randall Eastern Africa- a fully licensed member of Parker Randall International, a top-ranked, international association of independent audit and accounting firms that provide assurance, tax and advisory services.ÂÂ
He has been a member of the Global Governing Council of ACCA (the largest global accounting organization) and was the first person from Africa to be a member of the Global Council and, for a long time was the only elected member of the global ACCA council from Africa.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from the University of Nairobi.
Coutts is also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) (UK), the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU), and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR).
